Overview
Refolio is designed to help you track portfolios, holdings, allocation, and rebalancing plans. We aim to collect as little personal information as possible.
Information stored on your device
Your portfolio records, holdings, cash balances, allocation settings, and app preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple platform storage. Refolio does not require an account to use the app.
Market data requests
When Refolio refreshes stock prices, the app may send stock symbols, such as AAPL or MSFT, to our market data API provider so the app can display current prices, charts, and related calculations. These requests are used to provide app functionality.
Purchases and subscriptions
Refolio Plus purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We may use Apple StoreKit purchase status to unlock paid features in the app.
Data we do not sell
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your portfolio data for third-party advertising.
Diagnostics
Apple may provide developers with crash reports, diagnostics, and usage information if you have enabled sharing with app developers in iOS settings. This information is used to improve app reliability.
Third-party services
Refolio uses Apple services, including StoreKit and TestFlight, and may use backend infrastructure to retrieve market data. These services process information according to their own privacy practices.
